  1. he didnt

    (it was the welterweight title)

  2. It wasn't Nick Diaz' choice. Shaw, head of EXC, wanted him to fight on the July 26th card which is located in Diaz' hometown of Stockton, CA.  If Diaz wins, there will be even more hype for the KJ Noons potential rematch.

*I would want to fight in the promotion that pays me the best.  Don't have that much time to make your money in mma.

  3. I read that he got popped with a drug test and failed and he was put on probation by the UFC!  There for EliteXC is there competitor they are going to sign him right off the bat!  Just my opinion....  but yes I would have thought he would have wanted to follow his dream rather than just fight for EliteXC!

  4. Three words, Location, Location, Location.

I know I would rather compete in the USA than Japan.

  5. It wasn't his choice.  Elite XC is who Diaz signed with, and they have the right to force him out of matches for other promotions.  I'm not sure what the time limit is, but Diaz cannot compete within a certain window of an EXC event that he's scheduled to be at.

After what happened with the Adrenaline card and Jeff Monson, I'm really not surprised.  Besides that, EXC is holding that event in Stockton, Diaz's home town.

  6. because he's high hahaha
