It's his wife who's being attacked by the media. If Obama was to be president, then she should stand up and manage to be the First Lady. She has duties too, not just her husband. In a way, the First Lady represents the female population and is supposed to make decisions along with her husband.

Realistically, the major news outlets have a big say in who gets elected and who doesn't. Obama, just like any politician, has nothing to gain by fighting with news agencies.

   We all know that news agencies tend to have biases, but to portray oneself as spitefull and mean would only cost more votes.
