Why would a 7 year old p**p in his pants and not wipe himself very good?

he just moved to fl. from maryland to live with his dad but the problem started last year when he was at school. He doesn' t have many friends. Doesn't quite know how to socialize good yet.

well either he wasnt taught how to take care of himself properly or he is trying to get attention

this is a way of acting out and trying to get attention.  He is not talking about things and is most likely holding in his feelings.  Kids often times will resort to getting attention even if it is negative just to feel needed.

talk with the child for your answer.  get him to a pediatrician to rule out a medical cause.

He may have some learning issues or a mild form of autism or some other type of disorder that are causing him anxiety and stress. It could be just his life issues. He should be seen by the pediatrician and be given a psycho-eduational evaluation.
