Color is fine when just watching the TV. We are on Dish network. TV is a HD Magnavox 1080i about 9 months old. The DVD player is a sylvania which plays both VHS or DVD 3 or 4 years old.

  1. Are you using just the RF output for both VHS and DVD? If not, you may have the direct video cables hooked up incorrectly or the Video Output settings of the DVD player set for the wrong format.

Try to use the RF output for your DVD as well (if the player allows that option). If the VHS looks good but the DVD is still green, your DVD player is defective.

  2. it cud be ur combo player (goin' bad with age). It cud also be a bulb that needs replaced. G'luck.

  3. you said the tv color is fine when vewing.so I am thinking you mean the color is green when you plays a dvd or Vhs?if thats the case then try a using a different input on the Tv.If that doesn't help then I guess the dvd player needs repairing or replacing.30 buck for a new one.
