I was walking down the streets of Philly on Saturday when I came upon a PETA protest outside a fur coat store. When I inquired of one of the protesters why their lead protester had leather shoes on, she just looked at me dumbfounded. Is this an example of liberal hypocrisy?

  1. 1) Faux leather can be confused for the real thing.

    2) An animal raised strictly for fur is much more a different issue than using the complete body parts of an animal raised for food (such as leather from pigs and cows).

  2. It's possible you're making this up

  3. Well obviously they are nothing but hypocrites.   I'd like to see them TRY to live in a world without animal biproducts.  They are simply ridiculous.

I think it's funny that the person below me doesn't think the story is true.  Wow, do they live in a world of thier own or what???!  LMAO

  4. I don't believe this story.

  5. It's possible that the protester was wearing "pleather" shoes, which are made from manmade materials. By the way, I'm wearing faux suede shoes right now!:)
