I've seen it with me own eyes, and I felt sad too. It lived in a lovely meadow with it's mates, do they suffer from depression?

  1. DAT Cinnemon gave U  a great answer!

All animals can go through depression.

  2. I've seen cows, what you could call cry , when they lose a calf.  Also both cows and calves cry when they are separated at weaning.  They get over it in three or four days and move on with their regular routine.  I don't think they go into depression.  I have seen some animals suffer from depression, like a dog that lost his master, but with proper care they will get over it as well.

  3. Maybe she was mooooved to tears.  Lovely meadows and mates can be a moooooving experience.  Maybe she was just in a melancholy moooood.

  4. I think so.  I've seen a mouse cry and beg for it's life, it was covering it's eyes shivering like crazy and crying really loud while my nephew was holding a stick like how a caveman would on his hunt.  Poor thing I felt sorry for it and my nephew killed it mercilessly.

  5. Either she was in heat, she calved and couldn't find where she hid the calf, her calf died, or the calves have just been weaned and she is calling for her calf.

More likely than not she was in heat and is calling all Bulls in the area to come and service her. But I think the Bulls are all busy laughing at some of the answers to your question..:O)

  6. Maybe the cows cried because they read a post like the one above me that substituted every "th" with a "d" resulting in "dat," "dem," and "dis."

  7. see...................................me... 2 a gr8 lover of animals.................................... de hav feelings n so myb dey cry but i read in magazine dat dis is their way of cleaning their eyes..........................but den also treat dem as a n animal wid  feelings

  8. Yes, from cow depression.  Because the cow economy is going to h**l in a handbasket, and cows can't eat handbaskets! And they don't want to see trash and toxic waste burning in their pastures, they want fresh, clean, green grass, it is so much nicer.  But such is the fate of the world, and of cows.

  9. All animals have emotions and most care for their young far better than humans.  Most of them cry when they're sad or hurting.  It must be awful for them to constantly be impregnated to give birth and have their baby taken away from them right away.  I wonder if cows mate for life if given a choice.

We live in a very cruel world where most people don't care about the welfare of animals and abuse them in many ways every day. I wish for those people the same treatment they give to animals.

Always buy organic and free range.  It is better for their health and yours - and far less abusive.

  10. Cows and teenagers...sometimes they're just MEAN! The cow was crying because the Borden Laughing Cow was laughing at it..and dem dat sez dey gob peelings, dem is rite...

  11. Here at Vege-meadows Farms,we think the farmer and the cowman chould be friends...so every Wednesday we have a movie social. All the cowmen come over and bring their cows. We drink coffee and beer, and Granny makes up some ho-made lemonade and we have a good time. However...last Wednesday nite, we goofed, and showed "Fast Food Nation". By the end of that, there wasn't a dry Cow-eye in the house, and the farmer and the cowman weren't friends no more!
