  1. looking for food or water or a place to lay eggs.  Some flies bite and draw blood.

  2. To feed or lay eggs ugh!

  3. sometimes they look for food , to lay eggs like gary h said, but flies are not very big and don't have very big wings and can't fly for very long period of time, they will land on whatever is closets to rest or take off in flight again, trust me they don't want to land on you, cause even insects avoid any potiental danger, but landing for flies is sometimes a must.

  4. I have heard that flies have terrific sense of smell. Can you tell us if it happens regularly or certain days of the month? Just kidding. Flies are equal opportunity offenders and they love to bug whenever they can. I guess they don't know the difference between the humans and horses.

  5. I think you are so sweet.
