Why would a person automatically be considered crazy...?

Why are people automatically considered mentally or chemically unstable just because they don't want to be alive? I understand that some people do have medical, possibly treatable conditions, but that's not true of all suicidal people. There are some people who simply don't believe life has a purpose. And not everyone believes in god...

  1. your wrong. People who are suicidal do have a mental problem. So these medical, possibly treatable conditions are that of a suicidal person.

  2. because society doesn't know the clear solid definition of crazy, never has.

Crazy isn't a very specific term for society.  It's not a very good word in my opinion, it can describe way too many people,  half really good people too.

  3. I don't believe that they are considered 'crazy' at all, if they are depressed, or have issues that are not the 'norm'...now, doing horrible things, and not realizing you re hurting others, might be considered crazy...people do not always believe in God, you are correct. and when that happens, satan comes in, and is happy to destroy your life for you....call on Him,....and you might find, that you do not want to kill yourself, but you may find, a reason to live...my prayers are with you x you are a child of God like everyone else ...all you need to do, is call

  4. They say anyone that thinks of suicide and stuff are unbalanced because it's not natural for people to think that, man made the mistake of finding out about suicide.

Everyone isn't perfect everyone bumps there heads all the time and when you bump it even once the brain chemicals do get bashed about meaning you can get 'crossed wires' into thinking they don't want to live for reasons.

  5. Suicidal ideation is the psychological equivalent of blood in the urine. It means that something is very seriously wrong on the inside. In the vague realm of psychology there are few absolutes, this is one of them.  Something inside isn't working correctly, and it is never an innocent symptom.

Never. It's like cutting, it's a sure sign of something wrong.

Words are kind of failing me to express the profoundness of this symptom.
