Why would a person want to study business?

Business Degrees are highly sought after by employers, about the only area of study that is more sought after would be engineering.

Business is just a general term, for example in my university there is Finance, Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Business Economics. All are subsets of a "Business" degree.

They are also highly flexible, for example every business needs an accountant, not just the large accounting firms. Have you ever seen a business without a manager? What about all of those commercials that constantly fill up 15 minutes of every hours worth of television? There is a lot you can do in business.
