Why would a specific place make one feel uncomfortable, and remember things that are not there?

Ok, first of all, I am not some little kid who's afraid of ghosts and stuff. This feels like an extrema hatred toward me, and nothing human, more demonic. I have not seen anything with my eyes, but I almost knew there was something there, in detail, like a strong memory or something. It was a ribbon dancer, looked like she was from china, and had an ancient type of dress on. Other than the long needle like teeth in her mouth, and demonic look in her glowing red eyes, she is very attractive. In my main house which I normally live in, I used to suddenly fear for my life as I entered the hallway, or more so as I entered the bathroom in that hallway. This spot that scares me has moved over the years from that bathroom to a space about 3 meters and is actually at a wall which separates three main rooms in the house, the kitchen and dining room on one side and the living room on the other...

  1. Magnetic Fields are everywhere.

  2. http://theweirdweirdwest.com/?page=terms

    Electromagnetic Field: (EMF)

"Prolonged exposure to high EMF can cause some of the experiences listed by people complaining of hauntings. Some possible symptoms include, paranoia (feeling of being watched), irritability, sense of dread, and in some cases skin irritation."

    Fear Cage: (Surrounded by EMF)

"While I have only ever heard this term used by Jason and Grant of TAPS (Ghost Hunters on SciFi) I find the term useful enough to include here. A fear cage is a setup that has a person completely closed in on all sides by object emitting high EMF."

If it's old, it could easily have issues like that...

  3. From what you have discribed, you do not have a demon in the home, at least not the demon that you have written about.  What you probably do have is a lot of place memories in the home that you are sensitive enough to pick up on.

There is one question i would like to ask...would you by any chance that those "curly light bulbs" in any of the rooms that you are experiencing any of the electrical interference problems?  They are supposed to be more energy saving, however there are studies that have proved that they will cause interference with electrical applianced, cell phones, computers flat screen tvs, ipods etc.

I personally have done investigations where those bulbs would blink on their own anywhere from 30 sec to 1 1/2 minutes apart for no apparent reason, just at the tip.  But when replaced by a plain old light bulb, the blinking didn't happen anymore.

My advise to you is to have a paranormal team in your area come in and see if they can catch on film what it is you are seeing....

  4. These people answering trying to make 'logical explainations' are stupid.

You obviously have paranormal activity going on in your house.

You seem to have bad spirits in your house, and because you are paranoid and scared, they will feed off that and it makes their presence stronger.

I seriously suggest you try and get a psychic (a legitimate one) to come and perform an exorcism in your house.

Also don't do anything to annoy them, as in telling them to **** off and getting angry at them, that will make it worse.

    Good luck.

  5. I would have a geologic check of the property.

Check for high amounts of quartz, granite, iron, water from underground caverns, and high concentration levels of positive ions.

Then have an electrician come in and do an EMF sweep of the home; attic to basement.

Just because the previous tenants have had mental issues doesn't mean it's passed down causing mass hysteria in new occupants.

Maybe the colors of the wallpaper, paint, or odors are triggering memories.

For all you know, you've seen that ribbon dancer before on some form of artwork, cartoon, comic book, tattoo, picture at museum or restaurant.

Debunk the obvious before assuming your home is haunted.

It could very well be in your own mind that the place is scary.

  6. Reality never needs proof.

  7. How old is this house? Maybe you have something giving off high EMF. Some people are sensitive to this having symptoms such as paranoia, feelings of being watched, skin irritation, nausea, and hallucinations or sleep disturbances.

Electronics fck up all the time. Yesterday two of my patio lights were kept cutting off and turning on, they just needed to be tightened. As for the battery thing, that is a little fishy to me. Could you elaborate? That is what makes me think you might have something.

EDIT... yes I bet with all of that stuff, hot water heater, etc, there is just high EMF and you are really sensitive to it, some people are. But thing is it can be fixed and the symptoms (which feel paranormal) will go away completely. Could you explain what happens with the batteries draining?

Supposedly ghosts drain batteries to manifest so I don't know. Do you have odd noises in your house? What is CRT?

EDIT... Well you yourself said the shelf was cluttered so that probably wasn't paramormal. Or is the shelf sturdy? As for bangs, I live in a nice house and there is always bangs from the house settleing, its normal. Do your parents / siblings notice anything? Ever thought about leaving a tape recorder on when the house is COMPLETELY empty?

Or the bangs can be from pipes, I was wondering more like shuffleing or footsteps?

  8. Besides other past residents, have there been any other current witnesses to anything unusual that has happened there? I don't know wether or not there is actually a such thing as demons.  I assume, since I do believe in angels that there is an opposite.  What I do know is that there are evil spirits that linger.  Maybe it was something that happened on the property and not the house per say.  I would defianetly have somebody more scientific minded look into the electronics problem, as for ribbon dancer.....that is interesting.  Maybe a protective spirit of sorts.  I would defiantely look into the full history of the house and property as much as you can.  Under the circumstances it defiantely wouldn't hurt in my opinion.  You just might find a few answers there.  If any of that comes to a dead end, try a cleansing on the house, and if all else fails...move.  Think of all the money you would save on batteries and stuff long term.  It just dosen't sound economical to me, to stay.

  9. Note how neither you nor anyone else has observed anything to make you think there is something wrong with the place.  The negative feeling you are experiencing is entirely within you.  It's an emotional response.  It sounds like you have made an emotional connection to that particular spot, just like how smelling or seeing a particular thing can remind you of something else.
