Why would a wife take back her husband ?

If her husband openly admitted that he was having an affair for three years and that he was in love with her..... Why would she stay ?

these are all excuses weak women use.

Sometimes it's more comforting to be with "the devil you know,"  in other words, she is afraid of life without him, regardless of how crappy life is with him.

She would have to be a complete FOOL.  There is not enough love in the world to take back a deceitful, disrespecting, dishonorable, lying cheating man and not think he will continue to be a jackass.

either she really loves her husband......insecurity sometimes women think they are not capable of making it on their own, children, etc.....but that is totally wrong, i love my husband very much, but i love myslef more i would not tolerate something like that, no matter how much it would hurt to see him go...time heals and i would eventually get over it.

Because even if she really doesn't want him she doesn't want anyone else to have him either.  But lets face it - he is also capable of making a decision.  The kids will be fine. He knows this.  He's a wimp for not moving forward with what he wants, or he decided he didn't really want the other woman.  Impossible to believe after 3 years, i know, but it's more common than you think.  I'm with you!
