Why would an answer someonr gave 2 a question b gone?

i asked a question and someone gave me an answer i want 2 know if it was deleted by answers or the person i wanted 2 give it best answer but its gone! the question was who will be the next president and why the answer was given by captain something?

If at least 2 people report it as violating yahoo rules it can be deleted by Yahoo.  The poster can also delete it and then would not be able to re-post another answer for the same question.

Probably because some joker didn't like the answer and reported it.

evidently captain deleted it.  once he deletes it, he cannot re post on the same question.
