Why would an ebay power seller with 25600 feedback comments suddenly become a 'not a registered user'?

  1. Maybe they've got tired of ebays rip off selling fees and closed their business.


  2. Many reasons.....

    eg...no longer in business, banned for breach of EBay policy [read fake goods / misrepresentation of item location / failure to pay EBay fees / and a hundered other things], moved to a different username, and thats about all I can think of just now.

  3. Either they removed themselves by going out of business or they didn't pay their e-bay fees.  Most likely the second is the reason, because even if you go out of business, it would still be valuable to keep an account with that much feedback for future use.

    They could have closed the account themselves but one of the above is probably more likely.

  5. Usually is happens for one of three reasons.  Either the sellers account got scammed (password stolen, etc.), or they got tired of selling for whatever reason, or they stopped paying their fees.
