My hubby took off for 4 weeks because we just had a baby, and we get a bill from his job for insurance, they SHOULD have taken out while he was off. When I was off at my previous job for 4 weeks, insurance, etc, still got taken out of my checks.

  1. My suggestion is trying to get as much resource as you can before making final decision, here is a good one.http://insurance.online-frees.info/insur...

  2. What type of leave did your husband use?  It makes a difference.

This information should have been spelled out in his company's employee handbook, which he probably should have consulted when taking the leave.

  3. I agree with the previous post. Some types of leave you can not deduct premiums from. What should have happened was your Benefits office or vendor should have told you that the deduction were not going to be taken out and that you could either send in a physical check or make them up when he was back to work.

Thank the IRS for making things so difficult.
