Question:

Why would anybody want to steal a shark?

If it's that rare, then why steal it? Obviously it's too well known to just sell on. Where would you keep it?

  1. May be rare in Britain but could have it in Paris by the time the people found it missing.  No idea how many are in other parts of Europe. Somehow I don't think the police in mainland europe are going to take the slightest bit of notice of a fish.

  3. Bad, bad  . . . shark stealing!  Now if the shark is alive, the Chinese would cut the fins off and make shark fin soup.  In fact, when fishing they cut off the sharks fins, and throw it back in the water.  So cruel!

    Then you have those who want to stuff the shark (taxidermy) as a home decorator's artifact.  Oops, I didn't see the site!
