Question:

Why would anyone ask a fact based question here?

The responses are largely based on personal opinion and frequently offer incomplete or outright wrong information.

Finding the answers on the internet usually isn't so hard (it's easy!) or god forbid, why not ask someone with knowledge of the subject or, at the very least, find a topical message board?

Of course if you're just looking for public opinion, great, ask on.

  1. Sometimes its more fun to learn from people.

  2. i do think that, too. sometimes i think why they are asking these questions when they can get the answer online, through a book, or through personal contact with people. i don't know. it's fine, though. it's kinda fun to share some of the things i know or the things i think i know. maybe they don't want to find out for themselves. humans are complicated creatures... ^^,

  3. WHY did you BOTHER asking this question dipSH**?! GOD FORBID YOU LEAVE PEOPLE ALONE. MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO FIND SOMTHING PRODUCTIVE TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE OTHER THAN J**K OFF and BEG TO GET FLAMED ON ALL THE FOURMS AND QUESTION SITES? Answer me that, you probly know all the FACTS on that one.

  4. Some of us know the answers and are willing to share our knowledge with others.  Some of you are without answers and it appears a lack of knowledge on how to query the 'net yourself.

I have found that Google is way much easier than driving to the library and going through the card catalog and getting a book off the shelf, and reading it and writing my own version of what I read.

That is what we had to do before the internet.

some of you have found out that all you have to do is ask us.

That is a lot easier, and if you think in terms of multiple choice, odds are you will know if an answer is totally bogus.
