Why would anyone buy "covered bonds" for bad mortgages? Can one lose money on that too?

Net, That's a GD good point!

But I expect that they will package some of these to be unknowingly to the average JQPUBLIC to be less risky and point to the grand successes of those instruments, while others will take a dump! lol

It is all about the manipulation of people who saved for their retirements and who did so honestly and now the big boys want all their cash!

  1. I look at it this way.

    No bank or investment bank or private fund (hedge fund, etc) wants to bid for this stuff, so the gov is trying to get the public to buy it.

    If the so called financial experts won't buy it, why should we?
