Why would anyone support Obama's economic plan?

When oil prices were increasing he still said he would raise taxes, how can he say he is for the middle class when they are the one suffering? He don't want to drill but take us to alternative energy... in the long-run that may be feasable but today it is going to do nothing for the middle class! High gas prices, high taxes, and increased spending... how can he say he is for the middle class with a STRAIGHT face? He is successful at writing memoirs, maybe he should stick to that instead of politics... cause he definitely sucks at that!!

Because it's not the Republican economic plan that has this nation in debt for GENERATIONS to come.

Exactly.  He will tax us all yet the middle class and below will get slammed.  Why?  Well, he is going to tax anyone making 250,000 a year or more- small business owners and up.  They will have to raise the price of services and products to continue to stay open, and lay-off employees.  We will be paying higher taxes and higher prices for services and products.  It is called trickle down economics.  He will kill our economy and we will all be living on spam.  Yet, he is out to create Socialism- the Elite and then the rest of us floundering around with no hope to improve our lives.  He is dangerous.  And unfortunately, there are so many contrarians out there that will vote for him because he is different that we may just endear the next 4 years of utter h**l.  That does not even take into account his foreign policy plans of opening our boarders and hugging our neighbors, downsizing our military and disabling our nukes- most of us will be dead.

Obama has said he will cut taxes for most Americans.
