I always criticize my sister my sister for going to Europe every year on vacation. She just came back, and brought souvenirs. She brought a bunch of stuff from Hard Rock Cafe all of it said Made In China. She brought some figurines also made in China. She brought some crafts that she could've gotten here. I like Asia, that's a lot more interesting thatn Europe, they have the same stuff we have.

  1. It has culture and history.

Travel is a world in its own. It is a journey. It is new and exciting. It doesn't matter where you go.

  2. Europe has so much history!! not that Asia doesnt, but its...different history... I don't think its about what souvenirs you can get cuz a gift shop's a gift shop, but it just depends which culture you like better

  3. You have a point in that why go to Europe if you are going to visit the Hard Rock Cafe and Eat in McDonalds?

However, it is a fabulous place to visit if you like history, art and local food.  And they have plenty of "stuff" that we don't have here.

  4. No offense to your sister (I'm sure she's lovely), but her choice of souveneirs isn't exactly representative of all of the cultural wealth Europe has to offer.  Europe is dynamic and intriguing--home to thousands of cultures within cultures and fascinating societies.  I encourage you to discover it for yourself!

  5. Hi,

Europe is a great place to visit - just don't buy junk while you're here.

  6. europe is the history of western civilization!  think of the amazing and devestating things that have happened in the past that you can go see.  go to germany and see the concentration camps, go to france and spain and see the castles, go to greece and italy and see where western government began...there is just way too much history and architecture to pass up.  although asia would be pretty cool to see too!  im jealous of both places, wish i could go to them all!
