Why would anyone watch the new 90210 show?

Question

Isn't that show just about a bunch of snotty rich kids, who have too much money and time on their hands? Why do the American viewers wish they were like them? Why do people watch trash like that?

Well I have to admit when I was a young teenager, I started watching Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place.  I even remember my parents saying that I wasn't old enough to watch the shows but I felt that I was.  I actually got pretty into the shows, but now that I am 27 I feel different.  I seen 90210 for the first time in years last month when I got the soap channel when I moved to the city.  And I was so uninterested and wondered why I was so enticed to watch those shows when I was younger.  When I heard that they were going to make a new 90210, I did want to watch it just to see if it would be interesting or not.  That is yet to be seen.  But I can understand why you would ask that question, especially if you are a man.  And God forbid that Tori Spelling reality show.

well b/c us poor folks like to see that even rich snotty kids have the same problems we do. back then you didn't see that in real life, but today we have paris,britney,lindsey, and nicole, so i don't think this new show will be as much a hit. but i'm willing to watch at least one ep and decide from there.
