Why would i lie about a cast?

Question

i'm in a short leg cast (well its short and on my leg so....) some one told me i was faking.... why on earth would anyone think that... its a cast like all the other ones... he only saw it from far away... and all you could see was the red cast on my foot covered partially with a sock... and the part that goes up to my knee was coverd by my pants... why would this guy think i was faking... and why WOULD anyone fake a broken leg..

i did know the guy but not that well

Because he likes attention and fears that you will get it all and he will get none.

Because he's a jerk and doesn't know any better.  Only persons from the medical profession can put a cast on.

He should be ignored....or depending on your age he may simply be "flirting" with you...trying to start a conversation/r-ship.

Maybe he thinks it doesn't look like a real cast.

If you explain to him how you did it, he might believe you.

And also if you don't know this guy that well, it shouldn't bother you what he says.

his remark should not be of any importance to you. if you don't know him, and you know you have a real cast..just ignore his comment

Haha what an amazing world we live in, when people would believe in a fake cast over a real injury.

This shows the sheer cynicism of the age in which we dwell.

I believe your cast is real, and I haven't even seen it.
