  1. different forests have different infrastructures and are able to support different species than that of another.   Different environments depict the types of plants that can grow.  you wouldn't be able to grow an orange tree in Alaska.  Just as a giant red wood probably wont do so good in northern Africa.


  2. to now the species abundance and distribution in a certain habitat and niche, and their interaction with biotic and abioic factor presense in that area (forest). importance: for conservational biology/ ecology and law enforcement to have better world.
