Why would my 2 year olds stool be green?

She is 2 1/2 years old and has the runs very badly also her stool is very runny and green. She has had a fever during this.

  3. Maybe it's stomach flu from something she ate.

    There are drinks that make it go away or not occur as often:

    Pedialyte, Ricelyte, Rehydralyte

  4. too much fiber, or she might actually be SICK.

    make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids so she doesn't get dehydrated...

  5. sounds like she has an infection in her intestinal tract. Make sure she stays hydrated and keep pushing fluids to flush her body. I'm not sure how long she has had this, but I would also call your doctor and make an appointment. good luck, and I hope she feels better soon.

    She obviously has the flu or a virus which will cause stool to change color. Things you eat will also cause the stool to change color.

    The only time you really have to worry about stool color is if it is black

    ( bleeding internally)

  8. She has Diarrhea probably. Keep her away from juices, and things like that, give her water, watered down Gatorade, or even go and get her some pedialyte to help her stay hydrated. Let her eat bananas, rice, apple sauce which is basically called the BRAT diet.

  9. When my kids have green stools, the doc said they are fighting a sickness, so I think that's normal.  Be sure to keep her hydrated.  Pedialyte makes popsicles she might like!

  10. omg lol this actually happens to alot of kids if you have cats or dogs and you have there food where the kids/babies can get to it- theyll mosty likley eat it

  11. I agree make sure she's hydrated. Its what we eat that makes the stool(fruit loops have artificial colors,green beans etc.) that also gives some the runs. Is she teething, could be a reason for fever?
