  1. Dunno why thhe light is on but ABS is anti-lock breaking system

  2. ABS stands for Anti-Lock Braking System. If the light is on, then you have a problem in your ABS wiring circuit. could be a wheel speed sensor, bad ground, shorted wire somewhere. take your jeep to an auto-zone type place and see if they would be willing to hook up a scan tool to it. That's the easiest way to go IMO.

  3. Start with a walk around your jeep, while someone holds the brake pedal down.

Make sure all your brake lights (including the third brake lights) work before  you take it to the shop.

I know some one who paid 300 dollars for diagnostics just to fine out the ABS light was no because a brake light was burnt out.

  4. Anti-Lock Brake System.

ABS is basically a computer modulated brake so that when you step on the brake in an emergency that your car's brakes will not lock up and cause the tires to slide across the road. If the light is on ABS probably isn't working or not working well anyways.

I would get it checked right away if I was you.

  5. Antilock Brake System has a malfunction, any thing from a speed sensor to a hydraulic control circuit failure. i tis time to get that checked out by a reputable shop.

  6. Because there is a fault in your vehicles Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).  The ABS system is designed to sense when a wheel is about to lock up under braking and prevent that from happening so that you can maintain better control of your vehicle.  When the ABS warning light is illuminated that means a fault has been detected and the ABS system is not functioning.  You will still have full mechanical braking capability however.

To make the light go off you need to have the problem diagnosed and repaired.  Typically it will be just one of two things:  a wheel speed sensor or the ABS Control Module.  Wheel speed sensors while not cheap are usually not horribly expensive, ABS control modules OTOH are horribly expensive.

  7. is brakes so first check your brake fluid or have the brake system check at a shop

  8. antiskid brake system. You have something wrong with your brakes

go to a dealer and have them checked.
