It is dandruff and pretty common. We bought some fish oil at Petsmart and put some drops on my cats food and their fur no longer has any dandruff. Try that, it worked for Cash and George! Oh, and my brother is a vet and he told me to do it!

My black cat gets those all the time! Just dandruff. If the cats fur is greasy or wierd feeling I would take it to a vet, and even if you are getting really worried it doesnt hurt to get it a check up, but Im sure its just dandruff! Try getting a shedding brush and brush it everynight.
