  1. I would be inclined to check the setting of the low and high jet settings first. Vibration can alter their setting. s***w both clockwise till they go no further and reset by s******g counter clockwise exactly one turn to start with and that should get it going again. Sounds to me the low jet is out a little too far and for a moment it's too rich and it stalls. If you can keep it going by letting it come back to an idle slowly and it keeps going then that's probably the problem.

Worth a try before you go pulling the whole thing apart.

Oil and fuel mix must be exactly the same on every mix other wise you will have alter the jet settings to suit.

  2. The Carb could need cleaned or one of the gas lines maybe stopped up (hard to tell as they are usually discolored) But I would start off with a can of carb and choke cleaner or maybe you have an idle s***w on there that you can adjust the idling so it idles a little higher

  3. Could be air filter plugged, plug getting worn, or there could be dirt in gas

  4. Probably a clogged idle jet, or possibly the fuel pump diaphragm is old. Also, the prime bulb may be cracked.

Take the carb off and clean it, and perhaps get a rebuild kit which will include a new diaphragm, prime bulb, etc.

  5. Could be a dirty air filter or adjust the air/fuel valve and idle s***w on the carb
