I am not sure if she is losing her tooth but it is loose. I just got her last week from the shelter. They said she was about a year old. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. It is quite possibly because she hasn't shed all of her puppy teeth yet. I wouldn't worry. Some dogs take a little more time to loose their puppy teeth than others.

The only reason to worry would be if the teeth are rotten and stinky. If this is the case, take the dog to the vet.

  2. Well, you didn't give many details, but most dogs lose their teeth at about 5-6 months.

It could be a degenerative gum disease but it could also be calcium deficiency.

I recommend talking to your vet.

  3. She could still have a baby tooth.  It could be gum disease.  Anything.  A Vet could tell you.

  4. well my puppy lost his teeth at 4 months and it bled around the tooth then just fell out and he had diarrhea too
