  1. If you are having rebound headaches the only way to break the cycle is to abstain from taking any OTC, prescription, or otherwise pain relievers.  I had tension headaches for about a month once that continued after my body got used to the pain relievers.  A neurologist said that these were rebound headaches and it sounds like what you have.  This is different than a "tolerance" to, say, a narcotic pain reliever, but do consult your doctor before suddenly stopping a prescribed treatment or are self-medicating.

  2. Sometimes you can get a "rebound" effect from taking headache medicines or analgesics.  Your body gets used to them and then the medicines can cause the pain to reoccur.  Talk to your doctor about switching to something else or perhaps try an alternative method of pain relief for awhile.

  3. you are not      taking the right  medicine  for your headache you have to see a doctor .
