  1. so people wont steal their pics.........i think

  2. Are you talking about their Friend ID.

Every myspace user has their own permanent ID #, which links them to their profile.

For example, if someone's ID # was 123456 then you could go to their profile by typing myspace.com/123456.

They use those numbers so that people don't steal their pictures.

  3. well i have my FRIEND ID number on all of my pictures on myspace...because on myspace...people like to pose as other people...and if you have YOUR FRIEND ID number on all of you pictures...then posers couldnt pose of you because if they were to steal your ics...and try to act like you...your friend id number are on those pictures...and people would be like, hey thats not your friend id and they would know that that person is a poser....and they could also type in the friend id number after www.myspace/FRIEND ID NUMBER here....and then itll take you straight to that persons page...so yea...thats why i do it...to keep posers from posing as me

  4. i don't really know what those numbers are for really........

  5. usually its their "friend id".

with so many people stealing picture/identities these days, people use their friend id as a tag so that way if a person steals another user's  pictures, you can match up their friend id's & see who stole the picture. its also a number based URL.

    hope this helps(:

  6. I guess they are lazy or doesn't want to upload their own pictures ;-)
