Why would people think that Palin's youngest baby is really Bristol's?

It's not as if Sarah Palin could have been hiding for nine months while being governor and then suddenly pop up with a newborn baby. Didn't people see her when she was pregnant? So how come people say that the baby really belongs to her daughter Bristol?

You would think this would easily be discredited if it were not true.  So where are the pictures of a pregnant governor?  What gives?  And about the 4 month old baby and the 5 month pregnancy:  if the baby was born April 18 then that makes him 4.5 months old.  That's pretty close to the 5 month pregnancy, if indeed it is 5 months.  Therefore, it is possible.  Women can easily get pregnant again right after the birth of a baby.  And the fact the baby has Downs, although more commonly born to older mothers is not exclusive to older mothers.

People were suspicious because Bristol was absent from school for a period between 5 & 8 months. When that happens at a Catholic school, it is generally because the girl is pregnant. This particular rumor appears to be false as it would be difficult for Bristol to be 5 months pregnant 4 months after giving birth.

It was an ugly attempt by the Obama campaign to discredit her.

They even went so far as to photoshop pictures from last year to make Bristol look 6 months pregnant.

I think it is hilarious that the hard truth (that Bristol is currently 5 months pregnant and therefore could NOT have been pregnant with the youngest Palin boy) exposed some low-down dirty campaigning by the Obama team.

That's yesterday's news.  Gov. Palin announced her prenency at 7 months and was not "showing," thats why.  And her daughter was not showing up as school and putting on weight.

Fast forward 24 hours.

The Palins come clean.  The baby could not have been Bristol's.  Why?  Because Bristol is pregnant, that is why.

Apparently there were some odd coincedences during the pregnancy.  

Palin didn't announce it until she was 7 months pregnant and contemporary reports say she didn't LOOK pregnant.

She was traveling to Texas when she went into labor and insisted on flying back to Alaska.  

Her water broke.  She passed up TWO large hospitals in Anchorage with the state's best neonatal centers to travel several hours to Wasilla.

Her daughter was absent from school for several months during the pregnancy period.

Finally, Trig is supposed to be just about 5 months old (April 18th) and the daughter is REPORTED to be 5 months pregnant.
