Why would school start on wednesday?

Why would school start on wednesday?

Mine starts on Wednesday. Maybe because the first 3 days are easier.. (I don't know how it is this year, 7th grade. :/) and they're getting everyone introduced, then they can have a break. The next week they can start doing work? I don't know.. maybe 'cause the school board is evil, and want to make the kids tortured.

When I started High School it started on different days because the new year came in on the first day so that they had the school to themselves for a whole school to themselves for a day to learn their way around with out other kids to annoy them, also could be pupil free days so the teachers can have meetings and get ready for back to school
