Question:

Why would someone ask for your address and never write or visit?

If you really like someone and you asked for their home address, wouldn't you think they would write or visit or something? Cause I knew this woman, she was about 51, I'm 20. Anyway, she would always touch me (hair, hands, arm/shoulders, earrings/necklace, back, etc...), compliment me, tell me she missed me (twice), and even gave me her cell number & she said I could call her anytime day or night. She would also give me me things with sweet sayings like "you are wonderful", or she would say "Well you are wonderful". She would tell me personal things and would want to know stuff about me. And she would remember things I told her/stuff would remind her of me. She would arch and stroke her neck when talking to me, whisper in my ear, stare at me/gaze in my eyes, etc... Anyway, I worked with her. And on the day I quit she said "Give me your address...So I can send ya christmas card, hehe". She added that last part very fast too. Anyway, she's ummm...married, with 2 grown children. And it's probably stupid asking this, but, why do you think it is that she hasn't made contact? Lol. I just had these weird vibes from her. So I'm just a little confused is all. Thanks for any insight or help!

  1. I dont want to bring you down.. but some people are just like that. they act like that.. and they dont realize that their actions are coming off as flirty. On the other hand.. maybe she doesnt want to take the risk..

    hope i helped!!

  2. well..thats just a little creepy. Or..nah still creepy. I think she either saw you like a daughter and wanted to nurture you or she wanted to get some of that young, tender...uhh yeah. Well has Christmas passed yet? And were you 'really' looking for her to write because it sounds like she's not the only one whose a bit...curious.

  3. Well, I have several friends abroad and I send them at least post cards, I think it's a cool thing to do with friends. Personally, if I get someone's address, I send something or visit if possible. I can't answer for other people, there must be several reasons why someone asks your address or phone number and don't send anything or call.
