Why would someone ask such an ignorant question as this?

"Spiritually speaking: why is it impossible not to send emails and texts you know you shouldn't do when drunk?"

This question was asked on the RS site.Why would any human being what to be so ill mannered?

You shouldn't be so offended by an internet forum. Don't be so sensitive. There are far worse things on R&S.

The answer is in the question. The fact they are prone to get drunk shows a habit of parking their brain on the curb.

Because they want to be stupid and mock people who are actually trying to be serious on the site.  It's a free country sadly and people have the right to be stupid... ugh... did you see the one about the magical mormon batman underwear with a skid mark?

Err - why would someone who knows the answer ask the question?  So they are wanting people's opinions and seeking to learn!

Because they are ignorant and have nothing better to do than try and upset Christians, I have seen worse questions and much worse answers, thankfully we have good people like you that ask decent thought provoking questions! God bless!

Well?  Maybe the person wants spiritual help to deal with this problem? She may be an alcoholic or knows an alcoholic.

Because I know alcoholics.  They write a horrid hateful email, or a nice email with a misleading twist that makes others mad; when they are drunk.  Then they push the send button. Otherwise, they don't push the send button.

I have analized this.  From an article on our conscience.  When a person was tested, the person wrote a hateful message to someone, but at the end, they didn't send it.  They didn't push the send button, but deleated it instead. The head monitors noticed a reaction between the eyebrows, at the moment they decided to not send it & instead erase. That is believed to be the conscience.

I believe our guardian Angels guide us through our God given conscience.

Basically? When a person is drunk, they don't listen to their conscience. That is why they do destructive things. Many times not even knowing it is destructive.

A sober person is more likely to just erase the email & not send it.

This is from personal experience with alcoholics I know. They usually don't even write emails if they aren't drunk.

I personally think she has an alcohol problem & is crying out for spiritual help. Because she needs to go to the Highest Power.  In AA they just say to go to a higher power (than the alcohol), but that is still good in making baby steps to the Highest Power.  Because, higher powers (Godly Angels, etc...) do help. But when an alcoholic gets over their pride & humbles themself to the Highest Power; everything changes. So? That is the spiritual answer. Submit to the Highest Power. And you won't be an alcoholic anymore. Because when God steps into the room, every thing changes! Everything changes!

Submit to God, resist the devil & the devil flees.

Drunk people are ill mannered.

I pass them over. I won't give then my time and energy. These kind of questions do not belong in the R.&.S. site because there is nothing spiritual about these types of questions.

The Bible says in Proverbs: 26:4-5 "Do not answer a fool according to his folly or you will be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, and he will be wise in his own eyes."
