Why would someone be confuse, after they realize someone have feelings for them?

'Coz someone also has feelings towards that someone. Now there's the opporunity so he/she is confused what to do.

Honestly, if someone is a good friend of yours and you get along great and everything is going well with your friendship, and suddenly out of the blue, they suddenly have feelings for you....that kind of is confusing, because up until that point you were only good friends, and now you have to look at the person in a whole new light. Is my friend someone that I want to get even closer to, have that emotional committment with, do they have the qualities of someone that I admire enough to actually  want to date.And quite honestly, it kind of is a shock to your system, because now everything has changed, you have to consider if we date and break up, am I going to lose my great friend then, will they still remain my friend .......ok, then there is also the possibility that they made the statement to buy more time to think about if they want to go there or not......so, yes confusion can sure enter into the picture when the situation occurs.  good luck to you.....
