Why would someone be fired for reporting sexual assault?

Like the person being assaulted was a worker and the person assaulting was a manager?

  1. so the company would save face.  Its not a pretty world that we live in.  Nor is it a fair one


  2. The person fired should contact her attorney immediately.  The company has an obligation to protect employees from assault and other dangers.

    If the person filed a false claim, according to the company, they may fire that person.  However, the company should be ready to produce proof when it is sued.

  3. Because someone didn't want to ge that person is trouble.  They would rather fire someone than fix the problem.

  4. There have been cases in which people lie and use anti-sexual assault charges to attack someone who was innocent. Fired for making a false report with malice.
