  1. why would anybody steal anything from anyone. They may have needed a ride or parts. Here in Texas they still them to take to Mexico.People there will drive anything. They don't care if it is stolen.

  2. Because it's easier to steal than a high end vehicle. Also, depending on the condition, it's worth a couple thousand dollars. That's a whole lot of drugs for the junkie that boosted your car.

  3. parts

  4. V6 ,FOR THE MOTOR.THE REST IS JUST EXTRA

  5. The Honda Accord is the most stolen vehicle.

  6. they may have need a set of wheels or parts or a rush

  7. Amazingly to me, 8 or 9 on the top 10 of stolen cars are 1990-1999 models.

  8. Honda Accords have very valuable parts.

  9. Many cars are stolen to fill parts orders....someone may have offered a large sum of money to re-furbish a 96  Honda.... or they may have enough orders for parts to justify taking the whole car.....

Sad but true...One way I foil thieves is to install an ignition kill switch... even if the car is hot wired or even if they have  key or break the ignition, the car won't start until the secret switch is turned on...

Every thief has an M.O....and by tossing in a kill switch, you cause them to fumble too long and they usually abandon the car after a short time if they can't figure it out... All you have to do is give them a stumbling block, and your car will be left alone....

You can't have anything today, if you don't stick it up your azz...

  10. people generally steal cars because parts can be worth a lot. even if it is a 1996 Honda wagon

  11. Most of the time its usually a min wadge laborer looking for a ride home.  Honda's and many other Japanese cars have very very poor ignition locks (part you put the key in) and are just to easy to steal.  All a thief has to have is about 10 different keys of different cuts and one will work to get in the car and start it up.  Chances are pretty good your car will be found very soon.
