Why would someone want to study music?

I am making Fold-able thing for my band class about why study music so I need some reasons that sound like I really worked hard on it. Also if you could list your source then please!!! tell me

your band teacher is obviously asking you a rhetorical question...so the answer, ultimately, is, "so i can be just like you, teacher!" ...that should suffice. just camoflauge it up so it's not too obvious. but leave alittle ingratiation exposed so they can get their jollies.
