Why would the HD shows be coming in at 480p?

I have a 1080p TV but the shows come in at 480p. My blue ray plays at 1080p. I have dish network HD plan please help!

  1. It could be your carrier or you have to set the settings on your dish network menu.


  2. Did you switch the video output format of the Tivo to 1080?

    On my TivoHD (newer model) there is a format button on the front.
