He knows all the plays in the playbook, all the player and coach tendencies and all the signals. That doesn't guarantee a loss but that does increase the chances for six losses

  1. When you think of teams who need a QB, a few come to mind. The Jets, the Bears, the Vikings, and the Dolphins. When you consider that Favre wants to go to a team that offers him the greatest chance of winning, that leaves you with the Vikings. Add to that the fact that the Vikings use the same terminology as the Packers, and Favre can stop any trade he doesn't like, the Pack may have no choice but to trade him within their division.

  2. The Packers aren't going to trade Favre to a division team.  If anyone who knows about football, they all know one thing and that is you cannot give your opponent an advantage.  Lets just say Favre is traded to the Bears or Vikings.  That would automatically make them contenders.  So if he was to be traded, that would mean the Bears or Vikings would have an advantage over GB.  Since it is in the division, they are all competing for two goals.  The first is to clinch a division win.  The second is to get either a wildcard or divisional playoff berth.  If Favre were to go to either one of those teams, he would likely bring them to a division win and or playoff berth leaving GB either with a wild card playoff spot or on the outside lookiing in.  The Packers can not and will not risk that happening.  Besides Rodgers hasn't proven himself yet so I'm not sure if he is ready for all of that responsibilty yet.

  3. The ONLY reason would be to get something valuable in return for a player they don't want or plan on using, but were forced to have when commission reinstated Favre.

  4. they won't.

and for more reasons than that.  They won't risk the embarrassment of having Farve beat them twice.  They also wouldn't want to have to see his team above The Packers in the standings every week.  If he plays for a non-Green Bay team, they'll want him as out of sight/out of mind as they can get him.

  5. Exactly. They will trade him to Minnesota. He has stated that is the only team he will go to. After they stop bluffing and name Rodgers starter. Then they will trade Favre. I just hope we dont give anyone up that is essential to our team.

  6. Well, lets put it this way... $$$$$$$$$$$... If the Vikes offer the Pack enough moolah, nobody's gonna think twice about it. Also, the Pack isn't gonna trade Favre unless their getting a first round pick out of it, too. I mean, think about it, who cares if Favre is in the division if your not only getting a first round pick, but also the means to pay his signing bonus, too?

I love Favre, hate the pack, but no one cares if he goes in the divison except the Packers fans and the media. And also Mike McCarthy, a little bit...

  7. the Packers wont trade Favre to a division rival, it is just speculation because rumor is that Favre wants to go to a division rival.  anyhow, all the signals for audibles change every offseason.  often times, the playbook is spiced up as well.  the majority of plays are thrown out while new plays are drawn up.  only the best plays and successfully executed plays are brought into the next season.  this is one of several reasons why it is so difficult to be a QB in the NFL as it's a mental burdon.  yes though, it would be difficult to win against Favre in that division.  if Favre goes to MN, it is guaranteed that MN will win the division.  if Favre does not go to MN, then it could go either way between MN and GB.

  8. only 2 losses would be because of him being on a divisional team but if you don't want or need something don't let it spoil on your shelves get rid of it

  9. Coaches, and other players move within the same division all the time. Him knowing the playbook isn't the problem. The problem is that he is just good and could make the division much harder to win for the packers, and also it would be kinda weak to watch your legendary quarterback run out on to lambeau the first game of the season in a Vikes uniform. I would love to see the Vikings get him though.

Also, your logic for 6 losses doesn't make any sense. If he goes to the Vikings he isn't going to email the Packers playbook to the Lions or Bears.

  10. because they r sick of his bull. but he has the right be the way he is because he is one of the best qbs there is. And minnesota and chicago r willing to give more than anybody else.
