  1. After putting the moong dal in water for 24 hrs take them out and cover them with a moist cloth or put them in the sprout maker.

It doesnt matter whether the quality of the Dal is good or bad - U'll find the sprouts on the 3rd day

    Hope that helps :)

  2. Dal is not suppose to sprout. You have to use Aakha Mung and see it will sprout within couple of days. Secondly, let it be under water surface only for a day later on wind it up in soft cotton cloth for overnight next morning you will see the Moong sprout. When this class  corp is bisected it loses it's property of sprouting out.

  3. Moong dal or any kind of dal is the half splits of  entire seed. Dal is made by splitting the entire seeds. The seeds can germinate or sprout not the dal. If you want mung sprouts you have to put the green mung seeds in water for 8-10 hours to soak.  After that take them away remove all the excess water from the moong seeds and then keep them in cotton cloth overnight  properly covered. You will get moong sprouts. For any sprouts you may use the same procedure.
