Why would the transmission jerk when shifting?

my 2000 pontiac bonneville ssei trans is jerking when it shifts

it only has 40,000 miles and it is supercharged it recommends premium fuel but i use regular more often do to the price

what do u recomend i should do

take it to the shop or do something else

  1. buy the premium fuel because your car needs it and you could mess up your car using regular.  also you might want to get a transmission flush to smoothen out rough shifts.  it helped my car alot.


  2. If the trans has the original fluid in it you can take a $100 chance and see if changing it makes it any better. But unfortunately once it gets to the point of shifting hard, you probably need a rebuild, which costs around $1200-1500. Try the trans service 1st. Good Luck.
