Why would the world will end in 2012? based on Mayan Books or Nostradamus?

One some of the historians said that most of the Mayan books were destroyed by Spain. Meaning that The Mayans could have had books about after 2012. Two Every event since World War II

, Cold War, Vietnam War, Y2K , 9-11-01, Anthrax 2001, Iraq War 2003, Tsunami 2004, Katrina and China Quake have been used as indicators that could end the world. 3 We have been hit by Meteors in the past 50,000 years. and reached ice ages and super volcanoes every 50,000 years. we been in the center of the galaxy before. This must be The Leader of China, or Iran trying to prevent its citizens from converting to other religions or a biological, nuclear and chemical attack

would happen from those countries.

The Maya said that the world would end in 2012 but a new period would begin in a day.  What exactly that means is debatable.

One of the Maya Codices, the Munich Codex I think, survived and is in a museum in Munich.  It shows how advanced the Maya were and this bothered the Spanish priests, so they burned the ones they could find.  Thanks, Catholics.

One theory is that planet nibiru also thought of as "planet x" is coming around on its eliptical orbit and will pass within close proximity to the earth in 2012.Thus causing massive gravitational shifts and general chaos. Although this may not actually mean the end of the world maybe just the end of an age.

also its based on the final date of the mayan calander which ends in 2012

The only One who knows when the end of the world is coming is God Himself, not even Jesus knows.  Jesus answered all the questions about this in the Bible, (check it out, it'll make you realize this is happening now);  Go to Matthew in the New Testament, to Matthew 24:3.   His disciples asked Him, "tell us when will these things be?  And what will be the sign of your coming back?  Jesus' answer are when you continue reading, and begins at verse 6 ("and you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.  If you read the entire book of Matthew, you will see that Jesus came to save the world, not create religion, ask for 10% (tithing) or condemn anyone for their lives or sins.  He came once, and it was prophecized many hundreds of years before that He was coming, and that whoever the Savior of the World would be would complete 133 of the promises mentioned before He came to earth.  Don't worry about WWIII, it has already begun.  But, those who have beleived and taken Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and asked for forgiveness for all there sins, and speaks those words, "that's all you have to do, to be born again" in spirit.  You don't have to kill any chickens, attend a certain church, etc., just believe and say the words that you accept Jesus.  Before all the calamaties begin, Jesus promises to come down and bring those beleivers with Him into Heaven before it starts rockin and rollin.  Hey, listen, until I read the New Testament in the Bible, I freaked out alot too. But Jesus was here, He was God in human flesh, and He does not make promises He doesn't keep.  And lastly, read John 3:3-7.  It will give you peace if you give everything you stress about and who you are and trust God.  I hope you do read it, because it got me somewhere I had never been before.  I quit organized religion because of what Jesus also said -- man makes God (basically), rules, rituals, money, etc., Jesus just wants you to love God His father, and each other.  That, my friend, is the truth, and the truth will set you free.
