Why would they help people?

Why do people, such as Donald Trump, have books that could supposedly help you become wealthy? I do not understand the logic behind these books. Wouldn't wealthy people like himself keep things like that to themselves instead of helping others become rich?

Donald Trump is not really wealthy.  He's got millions in assets and even more millions in debt.  He needs the money.

You think books are bad, how'd you like to be on a reality TV show?  That would be a fate worse than death.

Ignore ego-maniacs , especially if they are trying to sell you something... you don't need " tips" or lessons from them...instead look to the biography or trading style/ history of someone like Warren Buffet... down-to-earth, modest, and generous and charitable, too.   and somehow worth about ten times as much as "Trump this", and "Trump that" and  " I'm so freakin' important"

These books are just a money making proposition.  I would always urge caution in investing in them.

99% of the time its about selling books. There is that very small percentage who are inspired and become successful. Donald Trump at least is honest. He says most of it is about luck and loving what you do.
