Why would this question be a violation?

I asked if feminists really believed that women should get less jail time than men for the same crime, and it was deleted. Could somebody explain why?

I answered the question and thought it was legit since the anti-fems are constantly whining that women get off with lesser sentences (and some men don't??) than men for the same crimes. From my observations it depends on the crime; your class; your race; then your gender. I see a lot of guys in NC kill their wives "in a rage" and get off whereas if the woman plans the murder she's evil and goes to jail forever (nice girls don't plan murders but nice boys get mad and kill their wives). If you're black you go to jail; if you're poor you go to jail. If you're wealthy you get off almost every time unless you got caught by three witnesses murdering someone-even then...I've seen a lot of wealthy white people get away with whatever they feel like doing. There are not too many wealthy white people on death row for a reason.

It is an absolute valid question.

Same old story, same old story , where good valid questions get reported while the trash stays for hours and hours and hours.

Remember that some people in here have multiple accounts, you just need ONE person not liking you to get reported ;-)

Take it as a compliment. We (people older than 13 years old) KNOW you are a serious contributor :-)

Edit: And about your question, everybody should get the same time in jail for the same crime

You asked a valid question and it was not a violation. Sometimes I think YA thinks only the one who reports has all the rights. Just keep on being who you are and don't let it bother you too much.

It must of offended someone. But I disagree men and women should get the same punishment for the same crime.

im not realy sure but i think it was because centuries ago, women were treated like c**p and had unequal rights compared to men. some women(feminsts) protested very hard to change them. although they were changed, some woman still thought they should get off lighter than the men. the question would probably be a violation cuz the way women were treated back then is now considered very horrible and rong. and that question would hurt feminists who proteste for the rights we have 2day cuz some of them took this VERY serriously

Because there is a group of folks on this forum who have a g&ws chat room going and now that i know it is there i have put 2 and 2 together and came up with just how it is that all this deletion stuff is going on. they sit, chat and pic on others questions and answers and then some deside to report together thus getting others deleted. We can now atribute all this c**p to them.

yeah, I wish Vince T and Justine T  will be suspended or cannot enter this section anymore. They are not needed here. THEY ARE BIASED, ILLOGICAL AND HARDLY NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. They are also using the name of God as an excuse. They are very pathetic and we don't need them here. If that is exactly how you stated it, then there is no valid reason for it being deleted.  As to your question:

There are several different types of feminists.  To my knowledge NONE of them believe that women should receive less jail time than men for the same crime.  However, there are many people out there who believe that feminists solely exist to raise their status above that of the male.  This also is not true.  The basis of feminism is to have the SAME rights and treatment as our male counterparts.  And it still exists today because sexism still exists.

It really shouldn't have been a violation but they may have zapped it as chat or something. You stated your opinion in your details and that maybe how someone  managed to do a petty report on you.

I few days ago I asked," What song is rolling around in your head right now?", in polls and surveys.  In the details I wrote,

Captalism Stole my Virginity by International Noise Coinspiracy is stuck in mine.  12 hours after I picked a best answer they stuck me for a chatting violation.

It sounds like the same thing happen to you.  Sorry to hear about that.

If enough or even one people reports it it gets deleted. People can build up a good scoring by reporting truthfully, after X good deletions they get to delete Q&A without their reports being checked by humans. If they abuse their newfound power it can take a while before yahoo checks back on how they deal it.
