  1. No, your money is better spent elsewhere.  Kitchen Aide has a great set of pots and pans that are hard adonized, nonstick.  Not near as expensive and just as good. I got mine at Kohl's.

Save the Williams Sonoma purchases for things that you cant get anywhere else.  The extra special somethings....

  2. They last longer.

  3. I would not buy pots and pan from william and sonoma. Too much money!

  4. I can't speak to W of S

But All Clad and Viking use multi layers of different metals clad together to form sides and bottoms to there pans this allows for MUCH more even heat have you ever cooked gravy with a cheap pan you get clumps that form on the sides of the pans on a gas cooktop due to the sides being heated by the flame. on an electric cooktop you can have scorching due to hot spots on the bottom created by the electric burner. With an All clad you avoid both those problems.  but they are quite expensive I would buy a sauce pan 8-9" and as big a saute pan as I could from one of these company's.  the rest can be what ever so long as they are stainless or porcelain on the inside
