I wouldn't own an unaltered pet and I wouldn't keep it outside. People who do are just ignorant.

If these cats have an owner, then that owner is ignorant....if you know that they're strays, call your local animal shelter so they can be trapped and taken care of...even if they have to be put down, it is better than letting them breed uncontrollably and get diseases and die.....It may be natural to have an unspayed female outside, but not responsible or humane.

I don't have a clue, really.  With the overpopulation of pets, letting them run with out being "fixed" is in humane.

Also, why do some cat owners think that it's ok to let cats run free at all.  It's a dangerous world out there.  Lots of injuries and of course unwanted kitties.

We keep our cats inside.  The one we let outside was either on a leash or in our sight.

I always fix all my animals. I don`t think cats need to go outside at all. They can only get hurt or they could kill birds. My two cats just passed at 16 yrs. They were fixed and they did not go outside.Anyone

that lets their cats go out without being fixed Is lazy and irresponsible.

I also have a dog. She does go outside but she is fixed.

all our animals are neutered..any body that doesnt think they should have their animal done should spend a day working in an animal shelter. its an eye opener and heart breaking

Every try to catch one? If the cat is feral ( wild ) first of all they are afraid of people and won't allow you to get near enough for you to catch them and the next thing is if you do catch it your in for the fight of your life so expect a lot of wounds. I invited a fix and release program to come out trap some of the feral cats around my place and they only managed to catch one kitten out of more that 20 cats that live outside my place. I watched some of the older and much wiser cats try to get at the bait by sticking their paws in the holes of the wire trap but they refused to step inside the trap. So much for that idea huh? The trap and fix program came out a few times after that and didn't manage to catch even one more cat or kitten and must have figured it wasn't worth the expense of wasting their gas and stopped coming out.
