Why would you put a car in your car?

Question

I heard someone quote an episode of "Pimp My Ride", where Xzibit tells the person "Yo dawg, we put a car in your car, so you can drive while you drive"

I don't think I quite understand.

I think he was referring to an X box 360  or PS3 console with a steering wheel so you can play Gran Turismo, Burnout, Need for Speed etc. in the car with the tv in the center console. Thus a car in a car. Thus drive while you drive. It doesnt have to make sense, they pimp your ride and give you things that you would never imagine putting in your car even if you had the money!
