Been to Diamond Billards 321 S Roselle Rd Schaumburg Il 60193. A bit dark and seedy. The players on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 been me were about a 6. I was 10-5 up in the best of 21 racks for $700 when I was asked to throw the game for $2000. I play to win and said no. After I won and got my money I was chased out of the place. Whats that all about? What would you do in my shoes? Why cheat whats the point in that?

  1. I was there and I remember you.

I think that you owe me some money, punk...

  2. You must be traveling by space shuttle.!! I have called behind you 3 times no one rem.you ??

But its a plain old hustle.I would not have thrown that one even if it did happen they prob had more money on the side than you were playing for

I have seen maj. tourns thrown to hold a rep down

so they can still find a game.A freind of mine threw a tourn with Lassiter in 61-2 because he had a real game later .What would you bet against a guy that just won a major tourn.

If you ever really went into a room with your line of BS you would be laughed out of the place.

Ckeck for more rooms on the web so you can tell us where your next great game came from

  3. You play to win what? glory, or money?.

EDIT I don't think There is that kind of money being played out in schaumburg, and You being a 10 and they a 6, something is not right, but if that happened and they offer you 2g to lose, where do 6s, come up with that kind of money?, and if you would have took the loss for the money, who would have got you out of there, alone, and 2g richer.

  4. I agree with Johnny here. I think your full of it.  Why would you put the address and the zip code down for the places you say you've been? That just doesn't make any common sense. Why would you even know the zip code? Your just lookin' these places up on the internet to go along with your bs stories. And then you sit back and laugh at all the people that fall for it. I doubt very much that you can even play pool at all. I don't think that anyone should even respond to your bs questions anymore. I know I won't!

  5. the only reasonable explanation I can think of is that whoever you were playing had a bigger bet going to where if you beat him he would lose that bet.  It would save him money to pay you off and keep his other bet going.  Maybe he had like a win streak bet or something.

The only time it make sense to pay someone off like that is if he had something larger at stake.

  6. Who says best of 21??

--Confused Lea, giving Confused Dave the seven and the eight in a race to 11

  7. Once again Confused Dave lives up to his name.

If you win the match you win $700, right?

But you were offered $2000 to throw one "game"? Or was it the whole match?

    Say what you mean, dude.

And try leaving out the stuff and nonsense... if possible.
