i work at a casino and i love it i have been there for 5 years its a good job and i get to meet alot of interesting people and i also work with a great bunch of people

because you would make 40 - 60 k a year in tips

because there are tones of people there to blow money....so why not get a little piece of the pie?? In reference to serving/bartending or something. People will waste money gambling, so they'll probably be leaving a decent tip.

Well i live in Reno NV and alot of people work here because it is easy to get work in a casino. However the pay is not so good.

When the odds are in the gamblers favor and they are winning, you recieve pretty good tips. People are likely to tip more beacuse they have chips therefore, being a little more generous as they are not physically holding the actual bills yet.

I did work in lake Tahoe it was a fun experience but is fast lane I seen so much dishonesty in the casinos ;I was managing one of the hotels and I've seen my share of suicides I still think hard why you will take you life? For a debt ,but is more than that I talked with dealers and waiters hostesses etc most of them feel bad about taking money from people they know very well had not chance of winning but if you are lucky temptation was there waiting for you a free room(illusions) anything to keep you inside the place with the money .Is almost a perfect way to separated you from your money savings etc dirty, that is the reason of the high revolving door of employees that work in the casino that simply can't take it stay away work gamble all the business are rotten corporate or mafia same thing MONEY!! casinos bring a false sense of prosperity people in town will lose money and bills will not be paid nor new furniture ,clothes etc so is an illness in the community
