Why yahoo doesn't allow me to send files bigger than 1 MBmb to my yahoo group ?

I'm talking about sending it's attachment by e-mail to every member (even e-mails out of: @yahoo.com). I'm not talking about uploading a file to the group web site.

yahoo doesn't allow it to be larger since 1MB is the limit via e-mail. the limit of an upload is lrgr, 5MB.

sorry, cant go over that limit in e-mail or it'll be returned to you.

Messages up to 1MB can be delivered to your group. This includes both the message body and the attachment. As a general rule, attachments should be no larger than 800KB. If you post a message larger than 1MB it will be returned to you.

1. Max size of attachment that can be sent to yahoogroup per email is 1 MB.

2. If you want to send attachments more than 1 MB, split it into number of emails, each having <1 MB attachment size.

The reason is because of size limit but I would recommend checking with a Yahoo Groups customer service representative as well to see what they say.
